Qualifications

• nominees must currently live or work in San Francisco's District 6 - click here for area map
• potential candidates must be women, or those that identify as women who have demonstrated significant work in the award categories for which they are to be considered
• a resume or candidate application is required to be submitted for review and selection
• candidate information must be received by November 30th, 2009

Selection Process

• the qualifications of each candidate will be reviewed by a blue ribbon, independent selection panel of fifteen members
• candidates will be ranked by each panelist indicating the first, second and third choice for each category
• overall ranking will determine the recipient in each category
• candidates may be submitted for more than one award category, but cannot receive more than one award each year
